Reiatsu:
Color: Yellow
Shape: Free flowing
Personality: Ryouta has a very carefree, outgoing, and a flamboyant personality. But the one word that describes him perfectly is unpredictable. If he is in the mood he can try to be friends with everybody, including those who seem gloomy and distant, and be cheerful. If he is not he can be very rude, impatient and distant. He can also be surprisingly emotional or ruthless depending on the situation. In seldom occasions Ryouta exclusively adds -cchi or -chin to the names of the people who he respects, such as Ryuusakicchi (Ryuusaki). And with the exception of people he respects, he prefers to be addressed with his surname, Kise. As carefree as he is off-duty, he can be very determined and serious during a fight. While battling against a Gillian with other Shinigami, he said that he just didn't care about the mission being successful, that he just wanted to defeat it himself. He says that he's not mature enough to fight logically, that his instincts are too strong. However he is shown to be surprisingly perceptive.
"I used to be a colder person. But all these years have mellowed me to a point, where I don't give a damn anymore."

-Ryouta about his personality
Biography: Ryouta was
born as a normal kid with extraordinary talents. He was extremely
talented in sports, especially basketball. He discovered his talents
when he started going to school. He entered Yosen High first, shortly
before passing to Rakuzan High to join their basketball team. The school
had a large freedom in their school curriculum, somewhat like a
university. Their culture was lively as well. They introduced foreign
talent in their school. Western education, with a western influence in
their architecture, making Kise like his school even more.
After winning his third championship along with his team, Ryouta and his friends went to celebrate the event. In the morning, just when he was about to walk his way home, Ryouta encountered Daiki, the troublesome player of the losing team, with a knife on his hand. However, Ryouta wasn't just a talented player. The actual reason why he could play basketball, was because he had the ability to copy someone's movements in no time due to his visual comprehension skill. He only had to see a technique one time to completely copy it and make it his own. His ability didn't stop there: he copied the technique, but played it with more power and speed than the original. This meant that when his opponents made a move, he would transcend them easily. That's why he was called a copy-cat by his teammates. And naturally it wasn't surprising that Ryouta dodged the incoming stab and immobilized Daiki with a strong punch, telling him to be a good boy while leaving.
His ability of course knew some limitations, which Daiki was aware of. Any melee weapon would be useless against him and for a psychopath like Daiki, that definitely wasn't a reason to stop. Next day Ryouta stayed at their basketball court for extra training in order to improve his three point shots. Leaving the court alone, he encountered Daiki for the last time. He asked if he hadn't told him to be a good boy. As a response Daiki took out his gun and pulled the trigger, shooting the blond man's heart. Dying right on the spot, it took a couple of minutes for Ryouta to figure out he was now a spirit. Yet, he wanted to take his revenge. Giving in to his hatred, he started to transform into a Hollow right on that spot. But before he could transform completely, a Shinigami used Konsou to send him to Soul Society, promising it would be nothing but peaceful.
Living in the Rukongai all by himself for the rest century, Ryouta one day found an Asauchi from the corpse of a Gotei 13 member. Taking it immediately, as the dead Shinigami didn't have the strength to forge his soul inside this empty sword, Kise managed to unlock his Shikai after a short period of training. From that point on, he trained himself enough to take on a Vice Captain equally. When his powers blossomed completely, he started living like a thug and participated in crime after establishing „The Order of the Sword“.
The Order of the Sword was an organization, which consisted of strong souls equal to high seated officers in strength and carried out Kise's orders. The Order was quite famous for their secret and hidden Headquarters, which still can't be found, and the iron throne, on which only Ryouta himself could sit. They saw spreading their laws and rules fit while finding the system Soul Society had wrong and corrupted.
However the organization only lasted a couple of decades before each of the members were captured one by one. After a short trial, the CC46 gave Ryouta the opportunity to save himself and his allies. Accepting it in order to save his friends, Ryouta was forced to enter to a Division while others had been sent to Patrol Corps of Soul Society. And as the laws of Soul Society suggested, Ryouta had no choice but to enter Shinō Academy even though he strongly opposed to it. There he met Kai Takanashi, another Shinigami, whom he would quickly be good friends with. This ultimately led them to a stage of rivalry, where they competed with each other, in a friendly manner of course. After graduating, the duo parted their ways but still continued being good friends. Ryouta joined the Tenth Division. Even though he was offered a high seat immediately, Ryouta is not a seated officer at his own request, believing that becoming something that he once felt a repugnance for would be nothing but corruption. Nonetheless he eventually started seeing his division as his new home. After a couple of weeks and some successful missions, Ryouta quickly became a respected Shinigami, even labelled as one of the prodigies of his generation.
"The Order of the Sword... an organization which balanced the world and spread justice. The Headquarters stood high no matter what to ensure one thing: The evil would meet their ends while the good would get rewarded. The view from that throne... not something I can ever forget."

Special Traits:
Emperor Eye: Ever since his the discovery of his spiritual pressure, Ryouta knew he had special eyes. After the awakening of his Emperor Eye, he became capable of seeing long distances that others would just see as a blur. He can observe and see the smallest of details that others would not even notice. His Emperor Eye lets him see the smallest details of a person's movements, including their breathing, heartbeat, sweat, muscle contractions, spiritual pressure etc. With this, he is given extra time to react and thus he can time his actions to nullify or dodge an opponent's actions. He calls this the ability to “see the future of his opponent's moves”. It is distinguished and characterized by its ripple-like pattern when activated, which spreads over the eyeballs, with light purple sclera and irises. Additionally he can combine his Emperor Eye with his Advanced Senses and see the world around him in spiritual form. Ryouta also defines them as the “eyes that reflect the heart” (心を写す瞳, Kokoro o utsusu hitomi) in this state, as he can see the spiritual pressure in its color.

Though it has been noted that the Emperor Eye is not 100% perfect, as there is still a margin of error. This is caused by the mechanics of the Emperor Eye. As an individual with vast combat experience, Ryouta can observe the smallest retractions and movements of his target’s body and muscles and guess what kind of a movement his opponent will be doing next. Since he processes the actions in his mind, he gets more time to react. But if an opponent of a higher level, who is faster than him, attacks, Ryouta becomes unable to dodge it with his Emperor Eye because of the simple fact that he is slower and even if he has the time to process the move in his mind, he doesn’t have time to physically react to it.
"I see the numbers of possibilities but not just them. I see pictures of the movements, shapes and patterns. Almost like a square, but its texture alone drops... Ripples, almost... something that reflective. It's something I can not feel... almost metalic... happening like a flash... quickly and in an instant."

Advanced Senses: During his years in Rukongai, before he established The Order of the Sword, Kise didn't have a home at all. Carrying his belongings with himself all the time, he always had to watch out for thieves even during his sleep. As a result his senses became far superior to that of normal Shinigami. His time spent in the nature has allowed him to enhance these senses to the point where they greatly increased his overall perception of the world around him, making him able to see the slightest details, hear the smallest of whispers and feel the least of the spiritual activity.
